Message from the President

Greetings to all PAMET members and colleagues in Medical Technology profession!

As PAMET turns 54 this year, I extend my warmest invitation for the coming Annual Convention which will be held on December 3-5, 2018, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), with pre-Convention workshop on December 2.

This year’s theme “Setting New Vision Beyond Borders”, is both timely and appropriate. In this era of globalization and integration, there is an urgent need to set our vision on building credentials and on continuous professional development. It is only by being prepared that Medical Technologist can benefit from the emerging opportunities. It is by equipping our professionals with necessary skills and knowledge that we can best address the challenges ahead of us.

As we highly anticipate this yearly event of laboratory professionals, PAMET has lined up a series of scientific sessions that are truly world-class. An array of renowned speakers, both local and international, will share their expertise in their respective areas of specialization.

Let this occasion be an opportunity to learn new trends in the profession, to share best practices, to strengthen camaraderie and to better appreciate the value of being a PAMET member.

    There shall also be: Meet the Experts, Chief Med Techs Forum, Interactive Workshops, Diagnostic Industry satellite symposium, Regional reports and discussions

Awards

The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. will bestow the following Awards for 2018:

MOST OUTSTANDING MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST: Most meritorious contribution to the practice of Medical Technology

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD: Most meritorious contribution to the general membership through service

CRISANTO G. ALMARIO MEMORIAL AWARD: Most meritorious contribution to the field of research

MOST OUTSTANDING CHAPTER AWARD: Most meritorious contribution to the Association in terms of professional upliftment of members in the chapter level through its exemplary programs and activities.

Exhibits

This scientific exhibit is an excellent opportunity for our industry partners in Medical Laboratory Technology to showcase emerging technologies and efficiently interact with their target audience. This is likewise the perfect venue to introduce new ideas as well as to reaffirm and strengthen existing ties. Interested industry partners may contact PAMET Secretariat.

Call for Papers

PAMET is calling  for oral and poster presentations during the annual convention. Entries will be for Professional and Student categories. There will be prizes at stake. Visit PAMET website for guidelines and details: www.pametinc.ph

Registration Guidelines

  1. ENTITLEMENT: Full convention fee entitles the delegate to:
    1. Convention Kit
    2. Souvenir Program
    3. December 3 - Lunch December 4 - AM & PM snacks & lunch December 5 - AM & PM snacks & lunch
    4. Fellowship Dinner (December 5, 2018)
    5. Attendance in all scientific sessions & exhibits. THERE WILL BE NO REPLACEMENT FOR LOST MEAL TICKETS, SOUVENIR PROGRAM OR ANY COMPONENT OF THE KIT.
  2. CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE will be issued at the end of the convention upon submission of evaluation form.
  3. CANCELLATION & REFUND     
    1. Cancellation of registration must be made on or before September 30, 2018.
    2. Submit a cancellation letter and surrender the Official Receipt and the convention kit at the PAMET Office.
    3. 50% of the payment is refundable when cancellation is made before September 30, 2018.
    4. NO REFUND WILL BE MADE AFTER September 30, 2018.  
    5. NO LETTER, NO REFUND.
    6. Refund, to be released through CHECK ONLY, IN THE NAME OF THE PAYOR at the end of the convention.

  • 2018MEMBERSHIP - for membership payment only (new & renew)
  • 2018PRECON - for PAMET Member paying for PreCon only.

STEP 2: Login to www.pametinc.ph and follow instructions

STEP 3: Wait 3-5 working days to validate your payment. Once validated, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.

  1. Pay the Convention/Event Fees.
  2. Write your FULL NAME and Affiliation on your deposit slip (Payor`s Name).

  3. Download, print and accomplish the Non-Member Registration Form.
